According to the regional office Tasnim News, Noor Mohammad Saqib, Minister of Guidance, Hajj and Endowments of the Taliban government, met and talked with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the sidelines of the consultative meeting of Islamic world scholars.
According to the announcement published by the Ministry of Guidance, Hajj and Awqaf of the Taliban government, In this meeting, Saqib emphasized Kabul’s desire to develop relations with Turkey and said to Erdogan: The Islamic world, especially Afghanistan, expects you to play an important role in solving the problems of the Islamic Ummah.
This ministry had previously announced that in the said conference, it is supposed to discuss the ways out of the challenges and dangers facing the Islamic Ummah and issues humane and humanitarian discussion.
Since the Taliban regained power in Afghanistan, Turkey has established good relations with Kabul and expanded cooperation with this country.
It should be mentioned that in November of last year, in a meeting with Taliban Foreign Minister Amir Khan Motaghi, Turkish Foreign Minister stressed that Ankara does not accept any armed opposition in Afghanistan.
