North Korea warned the West about increasing military presence in the Asia-Pacific region and declared that such actions cannot cause North Korea and China to worry.

According to the North Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement warning Western countries against increasing their military presence in the region.

Pyongyang promised to take retaliatory measures if such western policies continue.

The said statement further added: The fact that some western countries use military forces around our country, which is geopolitically far away from them, tells a lot about this. The subjects are The alarming behavior of some countries, including Canada, Australia, England, Germany and France, which joined the so-called [coalition] to monitor sanctions violations by North Korea, has a wide negative impact.

North Korea warned: If the component of power is their policy towards Korea, then we should reconsider their approach towards us. Based on these analyses, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea will take the necessary measures to continuously protect the government’s sovereignty and security.
