reported by Mehr News Agency quoted by National News, “Subrahmanyam Jaishankar” (Subrahmanyam Jaishankar), the Minister of Foreign Affairs of India, this Wednesday, in response to the warning of the United States about the possible sanctions related to the operation of Chabahar port, stated: the agreement with Iran for The development of Chabahar port will benefit everyone.

India’s foreign minister further said that his country has signed a 10-year agreement to manage a strategic port in Iran and emphasized that people should think correctly about this project.

He continued: We should not be narrow minded on this issue and India will try to make Washington consider a better perspective in this agreement. If you look at Washington’s own attitude towards Chabahar port, it has acknowledged that Chabahar is very important. We will work on this issue.

According to this media, Jaishankar’s position follows the warning of the United States to New Delhi that the country will potentially face the risk of sanctions against anyone who thinks of doing business with Tehran; Done.
