reported Mehr news agency quoted by Al Jazeera, the Secretary General of the United Nations gave a speech at the 33rd meeting of the Arab League in Manama, the capital of Bahrain, and discussed the latest developments in the Middle East, especially the Gaza Strip.
Antonio Guterres, who attended the meeting as a guest, said: Israeli settlers are terribly preventing aid from reaching the Gaza Strip.
He continued: We are suffering a lot from what is happening in Gaza and we hope that this crisis will not affect other regions.
The Secretary General of the United Nations noted that the Palestinian people are suffering a lot and the attack on Rafah is unacceptable.
The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia and the King of Bahrain also spoke at the opening of this meeting and supported the formation of an independent Palestinian state and the cessation of aggression on the Gaza Strip.
