The South African delegation at the International Court of Justice said in this session: Israel’s genocide in the Gaza Strip continues and we had to return to the court to prevent it.
This board added: There are many and clear evidences of Israel’s intention to commit genocide in Gaza. Previous court orders did not prevent Israel from committing genocide in Gaza. What is happening now in Rafah represents Israel’s last step towards the destruction of the Gaza Strip.
The South African delegation stressed: There is evidence that Israel continues to bomb areas it describes as safe. Civilians are being driven from place to place in the Gaza Strip and the court must act now. Nothing justifies genocide, not even the right to self-defense.
This panel stated: There is no place for 1.5 million displaced people in the Gaza Strip, and a massive attack on Rafah will be a fatal blow that will lead to the destruction of Gaza. Israel should be ordered to stop its military operations in the Gaza Strip.
