The new wave of heavy rains and floods in Afghanistan increased the number of dead in Ghor and Faryab provinces to 70.

reported by Mehr News Agency Quoting Rianousti, Tolo News TV channel reported that flood casualties in Ghor and Faryab Afghanistan has increased to about 70 people.

According to the announcement of this media, this flood also led to the closure of the Ghor-Kabul and Ghor-Herat highways, as well as the communication routes of different areas of Ghor province.

For weeks, the flooding caused by the seasonal rains has destroyed a large part of Afghanistan and left many victims and injured.

Ghor Province Police Spokesman Abdul Rahman Badri earlier confirmed that at least 50 people died in this province and said that the number of victims will probably increase.
