A member of the Ministry of Information and Culture of the Taliban government met and talked with various cultural and publishing officials as well as the organizers of the exhibition during a three-hour visit to the Tehran International Book Fair.
This delegation stated in these meetings that we are at the beginning of our work and we need to use the experiences of the friendly and Muslim country of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the fields of translation, publishing and holding international book exhibitions.
The Taliban delegation also met with foreign publishers at the 35th Tehran International Book Fair and also visited the place of Martyrdom of Martyr Beheshti at the Cultural Complex of Martyrs of the Islamic Revolution.
A visit to the Holy Quran Museum and a conversation with Hojjat al-Islam “Sabri”, the head of this museum and some other managers were among the other programs of this delegation.
A delegation from Afghanistan also had a cordial discussion with the Holy Quran Publishing Center at the Imam Khomeini (RA) complex.
Mowlavi Abid, the head of the Holy Quran writing department in the Ministry of Information and Culture of the Taliban government, called for Iran’s cooperation in improving methods and transferring experiences in the field of publishing the Holy Quran.
After the arrangements made, the Afghan delegation also attended the printing and publishing company affiliated to the Awqaf and Charity Organization and visited its place.
This delegation also visited the printing house of Eswa publishing house (specially for printing the Holy Quran) and after visiting the library of Hazrat Ayatollah Al-Azmi Murashi Najafi paid a visit to the shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh, peace be upon him.
The members of this delegation also talked to reporters about the situation of the Persian language, non-Pashtuns, book importation from Iran. and the state of printing and publishing, as well as the importance of the Taliban, answered cultural issues and some other issues.
The visit to the Golestani Palace cultural complex was also on the last day of the delegation from Kabul. It was planned.
In this meeting, there was a discussion about Palestine, the killing of innocent people in Gaza and the indifference of the rulers of Islamic countries towards the crimes of the Zionist regime.
