In the statement issued by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, it is stated: We are closely monitoring the information related to the accident of the helicopter carrying high-ranking officials of Iran, including the president of this country.
The statement issued by “Maria Zakharova” adds: We hope that the passengers of the helicopter are safe and there is no danger to their lives. Russia is ready to help search for the missing helicopter carrying the president of Iran and investigate the cause of this accident.
Sabrin special forces brigade of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Ground Forces also went to East Azarbaijan region to help search for the president’s helicopter.
After the helicopter carrying the President had an accident this afternoon while returning from the opening ceremony of the “Qiz Qalasi” dam, there is still no news about the health status of the passengers of this helicopter.
