According to the regional office of Tasnim news agency, “Shahbaz Prime Minister Sharif of Pakistan announced on X channel that as a sign of respect to the Islamic President of Iran and his accompanying delegation and to declare solidarity with Iran, a day of public mourning will be announced and the flag of Pakistan will also be half-raised.
He pointed out that less than a month ago, Pakistan hosted the President and Minister of Foreign Affairs Hassan Amirabdollahian on a historic trip.
In another message, the Prime Minister of Pakistan stated that he was anxiously following the developments related to the landing of the Iranian president’s helicopter and was hoping for good news, but alas, this did not happen.
President Ayatollah Seyed Ebrahim Raisi along with Ayatollah Al-Hashem Friday Imam of Tabriz, Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian, Governor of Azerbaijan Malik Rahmati Sharqi and the accompanying delegation were martyred as a result of the helicopter crash.
