According to the regional office of Tasnim news agency, the terrorist group ISIS said in an announcement that the fighters of this group targeted foreign tourists and Shiites in the Bamyan attack.
ISIS claimed in this announcement that seven foreign tourists and five “Hazara Shiites” have been killed and wounded.
On Friday evening, armed attackers attacked foreign tourists and their companions in the center of Bamyan.
According to the statistics of the Ministry of Interior of the Taliban government, six people, including three foreigners and three Afghan citizens, were killed in this attack and seven others, including four foreigners, were injured.
The three tourists killed are Spanish citizens. The injured include a Spanish citizen, an Australian citizen, a Norwegian citizen and a Lithuanian citizen.
