According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency quoted by Tass, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov says that the end of the presidency of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has no effect on the process of Moscow’s special military operations in this country.
Pskov answered a question with this theme with a short sentence and said: No, special military operations will continue.
According to the current constitution of Ukraine, Zelensky’s powers will expire on May 21 (June 1) when his presidential term ends, and there is no legal way to extend it. Russian President Vladimir Putin has emphasized that the issue of the legitimacy of Zelenskiy’s presidency after May 20 should be resolved in Ukraine based on the country’s political and legal structure.
