The meeting of the headquarters of the coordination of foreign economic relations hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the presence of the Director General of the Office of Economic Coordination and a group of managers of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and deputies and representatives of the executive bodies of the staff with the agenda of “Reviewing the latest state of foreign economic relations with Turkey and Cuba within the framework of the joint commission” “Economic” was held.

In the continuation of this meeting, Mahmoud Heydari, Director General of the Mediterranean and Eastern Europe of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while presenting a report on the latest state of relations between Iran and Turkey and the diversity and scope of cooperation between the two countries, announced the holding of a joint economic commission in the coming days. .
He pointed to the expansion of the relations between the two neighboring countries, and considered the holding of the joint commission as an opportunity to leapfrog and promote cooperation in all dimensions and strengthen the commonalities of the two countries. He asked the relevant institutions to participate in the joint commission with full preparation and with the aim of achieving the best possible result. The foreign ministry explained Iran’s economic relations with Cuba in the framework of the joint economic commission and, referring to the holding of the 19th round of talks of this commission next month, considered it important to follow up on the common economic issues of the two countries. Referring to 14 documents under follow-up by the two countries, he expressed hope that the necessary measures to finalize the documents will be taken by the agencies in the remaining time.
