According to Webangah News quoted by Tasnim News agency, last night (Monday) the Turkish flag in different places This country was half-raised to pay tribute to the martyrdom of Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, the President of our country, and his accompanying delegation in the helicopter.
Today, public mourning has been announced in Turkey.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan also wrote in a message on the occasion of the martyrdom of the President of our country Seyed Ebrahim Raeesi: Unfortunately, I found out that my valuable colleague, friend and brother Mr. Seyed Ebrahim Raeesi, the President of Iran, has passed away. I ask God Almighty for mercy for them.
He added: I ask God Almighty for mercy for those who were in the helicopter with the late Raisi, including the foreign minister and other passengers. First of all, I express my deepest condolences to the leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mr. Seyed Ali Khamenei, the friendly and brotherly people, the government and the families of the late Raisi and other passengers.
From Mr. Raisi who I witnessed, during his mission, he made many efforts to calm the people and our region. We remember him well.
As Turkey, as always, we will stand by our Iranian neighbors in these sad and difficult days.
Before this, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan gave a message of condolence in a press conference with his Pakistani counterpart on the occasion of this event.
