Egypt's foreign minister left for Tehran to participate in the funeral ceremony of martyrs.

report Mehr News Agency, according to Al-Yum Seveni, Egyptian Foreign Minister “Sameh Shukri” left Cairo this morning for Tehran.

Ahmed Abu Zeid, the official spokesman of the Egyptian Foreign Ministry, emphasized that Shukri will participate in the mourning ceremony of the President and Foreign Minister of Iran as a representative of Cairo.

He added: Shukri will return to Egypt after participating in this ceremony. We declare our solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran in this critical situation.

Earlier, the presidency of Egypt had issued a statement following the plane crash in Iran and the martyrdom of our country’s president and foreign minister along with a group of their associates.

In this statement, it was emphasized: “Abd al-Fattah al-Sisi”, the president of Egypt, sincerely condoles the death of the Iranian president and foreign minister.
