Only 100 humanitarian aid trucks entered Gaza in the last 17 days
The World Food Program affiliated with the United Nations warned about the dire situation in the Gaza Strip due to the lack of humanitarian aid. |
According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency, citing Quds Al-Akhbariya website, the World Food Program affiliated with the United Nations announced: the process of humanitarian operations in the Gaza Strip is on the verge of destruction and the risk of famine has become very real. Since May 6, only 100 humanitarian aid trucks have entered the Gaza Strip.
This international organization emphasized in a statement: If food and humanitarian aid does not enter the Gaza Strip on a large scale, hunger will engulf the region.
This organization added: The current functioning of the border crossings in the south as the main arteries for the arrival of aid is such that fuel and humanitarian aid only reaches a small part of Gaza.
