report Mehr News Agency quoted by Rashatudi, Vladimir Putin, referring to the end of the presidency of Volodimir Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, said that before entering and participating in any negotiations to resolve the war in Ukraine, Moscow must be sure that it is dealing with the legitimate and legal authorities of this country.
Putin said this at a joint press conference in Minsk with Alexander Lukashenko, the president of Belarus. He commented that Zelenskiy’s presidential term ended a few days ago and his powers expired.
Reemphasizing Russia’s readiness to participate in negotiations with Ukraine in order to end the war, he said that the negotiations should be based on “common sense” and ” recognize the “field facts” and in addition, during the talks, the initial agreement in the early days of the war should be used as a basis.
