During the visit of “Mikhail Bogdanov”, the special envoy of the Russian President to Sudan, which took place at the end of last month, he offered Russia military assistance to the Sudanese army. offer to implement the agreement on the establishment of the Russian maritime logistics base in Port Sudan, which was signed during Omar al-Bashir’s regime. “Al-Hadath” television channel confirmed this Russian proposal and stated: Moscow proposed military cooperation to Sudan through the establishment of a logistics center and not a complete military base, in return for which the country’s army would immediately benefit from Russian arms assistance.

He added: The Russians suggested that cooperation between Russia and Sudan includes economic issues in the form of agricultural companies and participation in mining, ports, gold mining and exchange of agricultural products. .
