According to Mehr News Agency to Quoting from Rashatudi, the Armenian media published pictures and announced that after the flooding of the rivers of Lori and Tavush provinces in the north of the country, several local towns went under water and a bridge was also destroyed and one person was killed in this incident.
The Minister of the Interior of Armenia also announced that in the north of Armenia, the “Debad” river overflowed, which led to the death of at least one person and the destruction of buildings and infrastructure. Trains between Yerevan and Tbilisi have also been canceled due to mud and non-moving trains.
According to the interior minister, this flood also damaged the Armenia-Georgia highway and the road is closed in both directions.
