In the statement published by this ministry, it is stated: In relation to the state of emergency that has arisen in the Republic of Armenia due to heavy rain, lightning and flooding of rivers, the party Russia is ready to provide the necessary assistance to eliminate the consequences of floods and mudslides, and the command of the 102nd Russian military base in Armenia has been given the necessary orders to deliver the necessary equipment and relief forces.
The Ministry of Defense reminded that, if requested by the Armenian side, the troops and equipment of the Russian armed forces will be immediately sent to the affected areas.

According to the latest statistics, so far two people have died, some are missing and hundreds of people have been evacuated from the flooded area. Many roads and bridges in this area have been destroyed and many houses have been flooded.
