Flood in Armenia with 3 dead and 2 missing

According to the international group Tasnim news agency, due to the intensity of rain in the north of Armenia, which led to Rivers have flooded in Tavush and Lori areas, so far 3 people have died and two others have disappeared.

Also, 269 people have been displaced from their places of residence and 120 people have been rescued from the flood.

Due to heavy rains and floods, 2 bridges and 3 buildings were destroyed in Tavush area, and 45 houses, 2 hotels, 18 public places were also flooded. 

In Lori region, 50 meters of land has sunk and 7 bridges and 70 buildings have also been damaged.

Some main roads in the north of Armenia have also been cut off. 

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has gone to this region since yesterday to check the situation.

Russia has announced its readiness to help.
