According to the regional office of Tasnim News Agency, “Abdullah Abdallah, the former head of Afghanistan’s Supreme Reconciliation Council, in a meeting with Seyed Hassan Mortazavi, the deputy of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kabul, said that we thank and appreciate Iran’s humanitarian aid to the flood victims in Afghanistan.
While expressing his condolences on the occasion of the martyrdom of Ayatollah Raisi and his companions, he said that these donations were made while Iran was mourning.
Previously, the Iranian Consulate in Mazar-e-Sharif announced the arrival of the second shipment of humanitarian aid from the Red Crescent Society of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the flood victims in the northern and northeastern provinces of Afghanistan. Hamid Reza Ahmadi, the Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Mazar-e-Sharif, announced that these donations include biological items, including medicine, food, blankets, tents and other items.
Before this, “Razia Alishondi”, the vice president of international affairs of the Iranian Red Crescent Society, had announced that the Taliban had asked for help to help the flood victims of Afghanistan, and the Iranian Red Crescent Society had sent humanitarian aid, including teams has agreed to provide treatment and aid to Afghanistan.
