The President of Russia noted: There is no provision in the Constitution of Ukraine to extend the presidential term if new elections are not held due to martial law. Accordingly, now the only legal government in Ukraine is the parliament and the chairman of the Rada.
In response to a question about Zelensky’s legitimacy, Putin added: The Constitution of Ukraine provides for expanding the powers of only the Rada in Ukraine and not the President.
This Russian official said about the western axis allowing Kiev to attack Moscow: NATO members should be aware of what they are playing with. The entry of Western forces into Ukraine is a source of tension and another step towards a conflict in Europe and a global conflict. The more efforts to show support for Kiev, the more casualties there will be, and this is not in the interest of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. No one in the West talks about the shelling of Belgorod, because this is the result of their own work.
Vladimir Putin, in response to the West’s statements about the cancellation of Kiev’s restriction on attacks against Russian territory, added: Moscow is closely monitoring the talks about attacking the depth of this country’s territory. Long-range precision weapons cannot be used without access to spatial intelligence data.
The President of Russia said: Russia is ready to continue the process of negotiations on Ukraine, but what will be presented is not clear. It is not Russia that has stopped the talks about Ukraine.
The head of the Kremlin added: There are problems in Afghanistan. Everyone knows them, but somehow one has to establish relations with the current government. Regarding the status and position of the Taliban, there are constant discussions and investigations…. The United States is putting pressure on the Central Asian region, but I don’t see them kneeling down and following the orders issued from outside.
