According to the report of the international group Tasnim news agency, newspaper The “Washington Post” today, citing American officials, announced that last night (Tuesday night), one of the top officials of the US State Department resigned in protest against the war against Gaza.

According to the Palestine Information Center, the Washington Post wrote about this that this is the resigned official Stacey Gilbert, who worked in the Office of Settlement, Refugees and Immigration of the US Department of State.

Gilbert announced about his action that the US State Department was wrong in concluding that the Zionist regime prevented humanitarian aid from reaching Gaza.

Before this, a senior Jewish official in the US Department of the Interior had resigned in protest of his country’s support for the Israeli regime’s war against Gaza.
