According to Mehr News Agency, The Washington Post, quoting American officials, announced that one of the top officials of the US State Department has resigned in protest of the Zionist regime’s war against Gaza.
According to the Washington Post, this retired official is named Stacey Gilbert, who worked in the Office of Settlement, Refugees and Immigration of the US Department of State.
He said that the US State Department made a mistake in concluding that the Zionist regime prevented humanitarian aid from reaching Gaza.
Previously, a senior Jewish official in the US Department of the Interior had resigned in protest of his country’s support for the Zionist regime’s war against Gaza.
A few weeks ago, Al Jazeera announced that a senior officer of the American army with the rank of major has announced his resignation in a letter to his colleagues because of the unconditional support of the United States to the Zionist regime.
Hale Ghareit, the Arabic-speaking spokesperson of the US Ministry of Foreign Affairs, also resigned last month in protest of the country’s government’s policies regarding the war against Gaza.
