Sanctions by the US Treasury Department against five Iranian individuals and entities

According to Mehr News Agency, citing Al Jazeera, the US Treasury Department announced that it has imposed new sanctions against an individual and four Iranian entities in continuation of its hostile policies against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The US sanctions come at a time when the European Union has also sanctioned six individuals and three entities related to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Air Force in line with hostile actions against our country.
While announcing this news, the European Union claimed that the new sanctions against Iran are due to the transfer of drones to Russia for use in the Ukraine war, as well as the transfer of missiles and drones to militia groups and Security has been weakened in the Middle East and the Red Sea.
The European Union announced that “Mohammedreza Ashtiani”, the Minister of Defense of Iran, is one of the personalities who have been included in the new sanctions list of the Union in connection with the transfer of drones to Russia.
