According to the Mogadishu edition of the New Somali newspaper, Abdullah Sheikh Ismail, referring to the withdrawal of some of the African Union-affiliated forces from Somalia, said: following the withdrawal of these forces from the regions of Hiran, Shabili, Central Shabili, South and other regions Government forces have assumed the responsibility of providing security in these areas.
