The commemoration ceremony of Imam Khomeini’s death was held in Karachi

The ceremony to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the death of Imam Khomeini (RA) and to pay tribute to the martyrs of the helicopter crash of the martyred president was held in Karachi with the presence of Pakistani and Iranian personalities.

Syed Riaz Hussain Shah Shirazi, State Minister of Religious Affairs, Maulana Azad Jameel, Chairman of the Central Ulema Council of Sindh State, Yusuf Baloch, Member of Parliament of Sindh State, Hasan Noorian, Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Karachi, Azeer Mahmoud Al-Azhari prominent Sunni scholar and head of Rukn al-Islam and Hojjat al-Islam community Muhammad Salah Aldin, a member of the Supreme Political Council of the Majlis Vahdat Muslim Party, gave a speech at this ceremony.

Also, the minister of religious affairs of Sindh state, referring to the decree of Imam Khomeini (RA) to celebrate the World Quds Day and solidarity with the Palestinian nation, said: We ask the government of Pakistan to show solidarity and Formation of a common front to support Palestine and host an urgent summit of heads of Islamic countries.

He added: The progress and strength of the Iranian nation today is due to the brave leadership of Imam Khomeini (RA) to the extent that Iran’s opponents and enemies are unable to confront this country.
