Approval of the anti-Iranian resolution in the Agency’s Board of Governors
Mikhail Ulyanov, The representative of Russia to international organizations in Vienna wrote in this regard: the anti-Iranian resolution presented by the European Troika was approved by the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency with 20 votes in favor, 2 votes against and 12 abstentions.
The Iranian authorities had previously warned that if this resolution is approved, they will give the necessary and appropriate response.

The non-constructive approach of some member countries in the field of using the agency’s capacity in the direction of political goals will definitely harm the identity of the agency and its role-playing as well as its specialized role.
He added. : We have always invited different governments to allow the agency to continue its technical and specialized role and not to turn it into a place for political settlement due to the failures and failures they had in fields outside the agency.
Bagheri stated: We have always had and have many capacities within the framework of the NPT treaty and safeguard agreement. When it is determined according to the interests of the country and the priorities of the Atomic Energy Organization, the desired capacities will be activated.
