Iran has fulfilled its commitments/the West’s policy is double and hypocritical

On the sidelines of the St. Petersburg meeting, Putin defended Iran's adherence to the IAEA obligations, referring to the growing development of cooperation between Russia and Iran in response to the hostile actions of the West against the peaceful nuclear program.

In this regard, Vladimir Putin, in response to the question of Ali Naderi, CEO of “IRNA” news agency, on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg meeting, pointed out the central role of Ayatollah Ebrahim Raisi, the late president of our country, in the development of our country. The relations between Tehran and Moscow emphasized the continuation of cooperation between the two countries until the realization of the agreed achievements.

In another part of his answer to the question of the CEO of IRNA news agency about Iran’s safeguard obligations to the International Atomic Energy Agency, the President of Russia said: In our opinion, Iran has fulfilled its obligations to the International Energy Agency. Atami is fully committed and has not violated.

Vladimir Putin, while defending the performance of our country in the US Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action or the JCPOA, stated that America unilaterally withdrew from the JCPOA, and it is interesting that they told Iran that you should unilaterally comply with the commitments. Stick to yourself. This is ridiculous.

He added: Russia’s position is to adhere to the JCPOA and not ask for additional commitments from each other. We asked Iran to keep calm and adhere to the JCPOA, but I always thought to myself, how can the JCPOA be advanced?

Also, Putin emphasized that new mechanisms should be found. That one government signs an agreement and the next government crushes it, which is not an agreement!

The President of Russia further added: We are witnessing this issue in Ukraine as well. The dual policies pursued by America and the West.

Putin emphasized Iran’s indisputable right to obtain peaceful nuclear energy and added that Iran has adhered to all its commitments within the framework of the JCPOA and I think Iran has a legitimate right to use nuclear energy. and the West must accept this issue.

The President of Russia once again warned of the dual positions of the West regarding Iran’s nuclear program and said: If the West continues this process, Iran may not fulfill its commitments.

It should be said that the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will be held until June 8th (19 June), and this Russian city will host various officials and experts from different countries during this period.

According to the officials of the organizing committee of the St. Petersburg International Economic Meeting, the main topic of this year’s forum is “Establishment of new growth points, the basis of a multipolar world”.
