In this meeting, both sides They expressed their happiness at the high level of relations between the Kurdistan Region and the Islamic Republic of Iran and emphasized the expansion of trade and transportation activities in the common borders. Also, some suggestions about increasing direct flight lines and expanding cooperation in the fields of medicine and tourism; along with the reopening of a free trade zone, they discussed and exchanged opinions. Both sides wanted to strengthen relations and joint cooperation between each other. 

In another part of this meeting, the delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran asked the authorities of the Kurdistan Region for cooperation and ease in the journey of Iranian mourners who travel to southern Iraq through the Kurdistan Region; They thanked and appreciated.
