2 Afghan citizens were killed in the firing of Tajik border guards
Local sources of Badakhshan in Afghanistan announced that 2 residents of "Yawan" city of this province were killed by the firing of Tajik border forces.

According to the announcement of this media, these knowledgeable sources said that a group of 15 residents of the village of “Sholir” were trying to cross the border river “Amu” with Tajik border forces were warned to stop.
The said sources added that following the escape of a number of members of this 15-member armed group, Tajik border forces shot at them, as a result of which 2 people were killed.
This media adds that the names of these people are Hasibullah and Khalil.
Until now, the authorities of Tajikistan and the interim government of Afghanistan have not commented on this issue.
