A large and suspicious fire in the oil warehouse of a refinery in Erbil

reported by Mehr News Agency, the news media in Iraq are reporting a massive fire in the Metin Refinery located in Erbil province, the center of Iraqi Kurdistan, and the efforts of fire brigades to contain and extinguish the terrible fire.

The Iraqi Shafaq News base reported on Thursday morning that during this fire that started at 10:00 pm on Wednesday night in the oil refinery of Gweer occurred in Erbil, firefighting teams were dispatched to the fire and put it out.

The cause of this fire is still unknown.

According to news sources in Iraq, 15 people were injured during this fire and 12 oil warehouses were burnt during this fire.
