According to News Az, this action took place after the statement of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in the parliament, in which he announced that he will not visit Belarus again as long as Alexander Lukashenko remains the president of Minsk.
According to Armenian media reports, Pashinyan said in a parliament session in response to the criticism of an opposition member of the government: We will not leave. We will decide when to do something about it.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced a few hours ago: As long as Lukashenko is the president of Belarus, neither I nor any other official will travel to Minsk. If Lukashenko apologizes to Armenia or Belarus withdraws from the CSTO, Yerevan may change its attitude towards this organization.
At this time, after the suspension of Armenia’s membership in the Collective Security Treaty, Yerevan threatened yesterday that the next logical step may be the withdrawal of this country from the said treaty.
It should be said that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was angry with Minsk’s position regarding the conflict in the Nagorno-Karabakh region and demanded an apology from Belarus to the people of his country in this regard.
