In response to the journalists’ question about the process of buying and equipping F-16 fighter jets from America, the spokesman of the Turkish Ministry of Defense said: The relevant agreements have been signed and the negotiations on the details of the contracts are also between the delegations. Technical issues continue.
The spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense of Turkey also talked about the process of fighting the PKK/PYD terrorist group in northern Syria and the efforts of this group to hold elections in their occupied areas. He explained: The necessary warnings have already been issued by the president and the defense minister of our country. We have warned about the need to completely cancel these measures.
He further added: The actions of the terrorist group (PKK/PYD) are contrary to UN Security Council Resolution 2254 and the territorial integrity of Syria.
