In this regard, it is important to develop comprehensive and long-term relations with Russia.

The two countries of Iran and the Russian Federation benefit from the wisdom of political leaders, internal capacities and increased interactions. Both sides have been able to deal with the cruel and illegal political and economic pressures of the United States and some allied countries of this country, and by relying on internal capacities and a common understanding of the importance of confronting the unilateralism of the United States, they have reduced and neutralized the effects of the cruel sanctions. 

We believe that the two countries of Iran and Russia have many economic, political, security, scientific and cultural technologies that can be used to meet each other’s needs. Also, in many regional and international issues, in addition to common interests and positions, the two countries have played a constructive role in establishing peace, stability and fighting terrorism and extremism. 

The determination of the high officials of the two countries in the current government as well as the new government that will take over from the presidential election on the 8th of July and considering the membership of the republic Iran’s participation in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and BRICS, as well as the signing of the free trade agreement with the member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, promises the increasing development of comprehensive interactions between the two countries.
