This union has announced that next week 28,000 Samsung workers will stop work for one day on June 7.
Samsung National Union of Workers has one-fifth of all Samsung workers in its membership and has announced the news of the strike live and by showing a placard with the text “We will no longer tolerate oppression of workers and the union”.
During the past weeks, Samsung workers have continuously protested in front of the Samsung office in Seoul and the company’s factory in Hwaseong.
