The commander of Sudan’s rapid support forces was killed in Darfur

The Sudanese army claimed that the commander of the Sudan Rapid Support Forces in the Darfur region was killed by the clashes in Al-Fasher city.

reported by Mehr News Agency, citing Al-Mayadin, the Sudanese army announced that Ali Yaqoob Jabreel, the commander of the Rapid Support Forces in Darfur, was killed during the clashes in Al-Fasher city.

This news comes at a time when the UN Security Council issued a resolution to end the siege of the city of 1.8 million people “Al-Fasher” in Darfur, Sudan by “rapid support forces” and the immediate end of the conflicts. He demanded in this area.

England presented this resolution and 14 members of the UN Security Council voted for it and Russia also abstained.

Al-Fasher is the last big city in the Darfur region of Sudan that is still under the control of the country’s army.

According to the statistics of the United Nations, the war between the two major military forces of Sudan has led to the displacement of eight million people in the shadow of continued violence and hunger.
