Telephone consultation between the foreign ministers of the United States and Oman about the war in Gaza

In a telephone conversation, the foreign ministers of the United States and the Sultanate of Oman discussed efforts for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

reported by Mehr News Agency quoted by Al Jazeera, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Oman announced the phone call of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of this country with his American counterpart and consultation about developments in the Middle East, especially the war in Gaza.

According to the ministry’s statement, the efforts made to reach an agreement for a permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip were discussed in a phone call between Badr bin Hamad al-Busaidi and Anthony Blinken.

In this phone call, the two sides emphasized the necessity of political and financial support for the Palestinian Authority to enable it to fulfill its responsibilities.

The foreign ministers of Oman and the United States also considered it necessary to support peace efforts in the framework of efforts to calm the situation and prevent the escalation of the situation in the region.
