The President of Cuba wrote on his X social network (former Twitter) in this regard: Today, from inside the ship Admiral Gorshkov and the deck of the Kazan submarine, the vessels of the Russian Navy, which are in the port for an official visit I visited Havana.

The Euronews TV network pointed out the presence of Russian warships and nuclear submarines in Cuba last Wednesday.

According to this media, the ships of the Russian Navy entered the port of Havana on Wednesday; Although it is said that the stop does not pose a threat to the United States, it is evaluated as a demonstration of Moscow’s power in the midst of increasing anti-Russian tensions in dealing with Western arsonists in connection with Moscow’s special operations in Ukraine.

The first ships were a tanker named Akademik Pashin and a tug named Nikolay Chikir, while a Russian Navy frigate and a nuclear-powered submarine They were also waiting outside the beach.

Last Tuesday, the Ministry of Defense of Russia announced in a statement that this frigate and submarine, which are part of the group of 4 Russian ships, will reach the shores of Cuba on Wednesday and will be on their way to this island. They have conducted missile exercises in the Atlantic Ocean.
