North Korean soldiers crossed the border line between the two Koreas
According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency, in the continuation of increasing tensions on the Korean Peninsula, South Korean media announced that several North Korean soldiers were injured in the border area between the two Koreas due to a mine explosion.
South Korea’s “Yonhap” news agency has published this news quoting from the Joint Staff of the South Korean Army; The Joint Staff of the South Korean Army has not announced more details about this incident, but the border area between the two Koreas is completely mined.
South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff also claimed that North Korean soldiers who are present in the border area crossed the border between the two countries for a few minutes on Tuesday and after shooting South Korean troops have returned to their bases.
According to the South Korean military, this is the second time that North Korean soldiers have crossed the border line between the two countries. An official of the Joint Staff of the South Korean Armed Forces said that “our assessment is that this incident was accidental and not intentional.”
