Statistics of pilgrims who died due to the extreme heat of Saudi Arabia

Arab diplomatic sources in Arabia reported that at least 550 pilgrims have died due to the extreme heat.
These sources announced that 60 Jordanian pilgrims died, which is more than the official figure of 41 that Amman announced on Tuesday.
Also, these sources stated that 323 Egyptian pilgrims died during this year’s Hajj ceremony due to extreme heat.
On the other hand, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that it is cooperating with the Saudi authorities in finding the Egyptians who died during the Hajj ceremony.
Saudi authorities have announced the treatment of more than 2,000 pilgrims suffering from heatstroke, but they have not given statistics on the number of dead.
The Saudi Ministry of Health has advised pilgrims to use umbrellas and drink plenty of water.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tunisia also announced the death of 53 pilgrims due to the extreme heat in Saudi Arabia.
According to a study published in Saudi Arabia last month, the Hajj temperature increases by 0.4 degrees Celsius every decade, this year around 1.8 million pilgrims including 1.6 million pilgrims from outside Saudi Arabia participated in the Hajj ceremony.
The number of pilgrims who died last year was 241.
