Taliban: “Bent’s” report is for public concern
According to the regional office of Tasnim news agency
, “Zabihullah Mujahid”, the spokesman of the Taliban government, in a statement called the recent report of “Richard Bennett”, the special rapporteur for human rights of the United Nations for Afghanistan, “an attempt to destroy the minds on the eve of the Doha meeting”.
Mujahid wrote in “X”: “The report of some members of the United Nations, especially the report of Richard Bennett, is an attempt to destroy minds on the eve of the Doha meeting is”.
He added:“Unfortunately, some elite people in the United Nations are always trying to present false reports about Afghanistan and put great developments under the ambit of limited issues”.
The Taliban spokesman continued:
Bennett in a report to the UN Rights Council In Geneva, he stated that the Taliban are not recognized as a government and should not be treated like a government.
He also emphasized that ” All tools” should be used to change the human rights situation in Afghanistan.
