The incident happened at 8:28 am at a subway station in the southwest part of Shanghai.
The injured were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Following this incident, the station was temporarily closed and then reopened.
The suspect is a 54-year-old man named “Shen” and his case is being investigated by the police.
