Highlights of Lavrov’s trip to Kazakhstan and Belarus
reported by Mehr News Agency According to Rianost news agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia issued a statement on Wednesday detailing the upcoming trips of the foreign minister of this country to Almaty and Minsk.
The statement issued by the Russian Foreign Ministry in this regard states: Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will participate in the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
The said statement further adds that the said meeting will be held on June 20 and 21 (June 31 and July 1) in Almaty (the capital of Kazakhstan).
In another part of the statement of the Russian Foreign Ministry, it is stated: Lavrov will be in Minsk on June 24 and 25 (July 4 and 5) for an official visit and will meet with President Lukashenko. The President and Foreign Minister of Belarus will meet.
