Trump: Biden provoked Russia/Kiev joining NATO is ruled out
report Mehr News Agency quoted Rashatoudi, Donald Trump, the former president and candidate for the 2024 presidential election of the United States, said that the inflammatory statements and rhetoric of the current president and his electoral rival, Joe Biden, about joining Ukraine has been the main reason for NATO’s military intervention in this country and the start of the war.
He claimed that there was no talk of an armed conflict between Russia and Ukraine during his presidency, but as soon as Biden entered the White House, the situation became dire.
The former US president added: You see, Vladimir Putin (President of Russia) is a good negotiator and I thought that he might do this for negotiation purposes. But suddenly they attacked and I said to myself, what happened?! All of Biden’s words were wrong, and one of these false words was that Ukraine will join NATO!
The host of this podcast recalled that US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken told Moscow in January 2022 that Ukraine would join NATO and that Washington thought that the deployment of nuclear weapons in This country has no problems and as a result “it was not surprising that the Russians were going crazy.”
Trump responded by referring to the possible membership of Kiev in NATO: Put yourself in the place of Russia; You certainly wouldn’t be very happy. It was always clear to everyone that this would never happen. The idea of Ukraine joining NATO was very provocative and is even more provocative today. I constantly hear people talking about Ukraine joining NATO and recently I heard that France wants to intervene and go to war. Well, I wish them success from the bottom of my heart!
Putin has clearly emphasized that Western statements about Ukraine’s possible accession to NATO are a security threat to Russia and Moscow will not ignore it.
