Destruction of more than 76% of schools in the Gaza Strip

A UN-affiliated Palestinian refugee agency has warned of the dire situation in schools in the Gaza Strip.

report Mehr News Agency, citing Al Jazeera, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) emphasized that 76 percent of schools in the Gaza Strip were damaged by the attacks of the Zionist regime.

In the report of this international agency, it is stated that 76% of these schools need to be renovated in order to use them again.

UNRWA stated that education is one of the basic human rights and a ceasefire should be declared in the Gaza Strip as soon as possible.

Earlier, the United Nations Satellite Center wrote on its personal page on the X social network (former Twitter): According to satellite surveys, nearly 1,100 kilometers from The roads in Gaza have been destroyed during the war. Also, 350 kilometers of roads were seriously damaged and another 1,470 kilometers were less damaged.

The war in Gaza has largely destroyed this strip. For example, 60% of residential buildings and 80% of commercial buildings have been damaged since October 7th.
