The Secretary General of the United Nations announced last week that the speed and volume of the massacre in Gaza is beyond imagination. In this regard, he said: The speed and volume of killings and massacres in Gaza is beyond anything that I have experienced in these years as Secretary General. Following Israel’s military attack, at least 1.7 million people, or 75% of Gaza’s population, were repeatedly deported.
Guterres further added: Nowhere is safe, the situation is dire, the public health situation is beyond the crisis level. Hospitals in Gaza are in ruins, medical equipment and fuel are scarce or non-existent
The Secretary General of the United Nations also said: More than one million Palestinians in Gaza do not have enough drinking water and are facing extreme hunger. More than 50,000 children need treatment for acute malnutrition.
