The opportunities of the outside world and use for the benefit of the country

The presidential candidates should put all their efforts in lifting the sanctions by maintaining the independence of the country as an inseparable element and by considering honor, wisdom and expediency in their plans.

According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr reporter, Amin Deliri, an analyst of economic issues, wrote about foreign policy and economic diplomacy in a special note for Mehr; Development economists link the economic growth of countries to foreign trade. Just as investment is the engine of economic growth, foreign trade is also seen as the engine of development and economic growth.

The rapid growth of industrialized countries during the period of economic maturity is due to the expansion of foreign trade with neighboring countries, and therefore the importance of foreign trade in economic growth is so clear that considering It does not need to be re-proved by historical and experimental evidence records.

Today Iran is in the most difficult period in terms of sanctions. We should note that in situations where sanctions cause restrictions on domestic and foreign trade, governments are forced to take measures to neutralize the sanctions, which require the regulation of towards them; This means that a lot of time is spent in meetings of senior managers to avoid sanctions. Meanwhile, the costs of imported and exported goods are increasing despite strict sanctions; In this way, it is added to the cost of domestic production and the cost of imported goods.

Risk costs are added to production costs in addition to the direct costs that are assigned to domestically produced goods for export. In other words, domestic goods are not competitive in competition with the goods of foreign competitors. Even if there is more competition in terms of quality, the exporter has to sell the export goods at lower prices to the foreign party; That is, the risk of sanctions costs has a great impact on the price of export goods; In addition, the cost of insurance risk is one of the costs that are imposed on the goods exporter in the case of embargo. So, it can be seen that the mentioned costs are unavoidable costs that are imposed on the domestic producer in the conditions of sanctions. According to the mentioned cases, a lot of losses will be imposed on the country’s foreign trade due to the continuation of sanctions.

Issue Another important issue is the currency restrictions caused by sanctions on the export of oil and other products. Nafti is imposed directly and indirectly in the allocation of required currency to domestic production units. Also, due to the time delay, the cost of producing export goods has been increased, which must be included in the calculations.

Therefore, sanctions as a harmful factor and a disturbing factor hinder economic growth. Respected presidential candidates should put all their efforts in lifting the sanctions by maintaining the independence of the country as an inseparable element and by considering honor, wisdom and expediency in their plans.

Opportunities from the outside world for the benefit of the country

In order to expand foreign trade, in addition to sanctions, there are other obstacles that prevent the development and expansion of trade with countries and bilateral and multilateral trade agreements, and that is joining It is “FTAF”.

In this regard, there are many opponents and supporters who have their own reasons for rejecting or confirming and have not yet reached a consensus in this dispute. If we ask the stakeholders, who are economic activists and people active in foreign trade, we can safely say that there are few people who do not talk about the economic restrictions of economic activists due to the Islamic Republic of Iran not joining the FATF. However, the countries that have economic relations with our country look at the FATF issue as a defect in trade relations and add risk costs in their calculations. Or it may be that no currency is exchanged for export, the exporter is forced to import goods from the country of the trading party in return for the export, and the right to choose is taken away from him.

Therefore, the honorable presidential candidates should not simply pass over the FATF issue and should think of a solution for it. If there are concerns for the independence and security of the country, there is a common law principle when joining international treaties and conventions, and that is to rely on the constitution of the countries. This principle says that the provisions of international agreements should not contradict it. If this stipulation is added at the time of joining FATF, the concerns of this area can be resolved.

Free trade is no longer a showcase. Production solely for domestic consumption is no longer economically justified. Economic growth is not complete without foreign trade. Obstacles in the way of easy trade with foreign countries should be removed.

Today, the businessmen of the country are potentially in a good position in terms of domestic capacity. The opportunities of the outside world should be used for the benefit of the country.

Political disputes and different views should not create an obstacle in the growth and excellence of the country. The interests of the country should not be the cause of factional differences.

Today in the world, a kind of continuity has been created in economic relations. Recession and international economic crises affect the financial situation of the countries of the world, and on the contrary, global economic growth will cause economic prosperity. Therefore, the paralyzing competition has given its place in the economic overlap that implies global economic growth and plays a role in global trade. Therefore, economic diplomacy, which is a requirement for international trade relations, should be on the agenda of the presidential candidates.

Bilateral and multilateral regional agreements and international economic and financial agreements such as BRICS, Shanghai Group, Eco and… in which the Islamic Republic of Iran is a member should be strengthened. As it was said, we should try and be diligent in removing the obstacles that exist in the way of the country’s foreign trade development.
