American and Canadian sanctions against Iran and Hamas

The US Treasury Department announced on Tuesday that 50 Iranian institutions and individuals were sanctioned due to their connection with the shadow banking network.

According to the claim of the US Treasury Department, these people and entities are connected with the banking network used by the Iranian army to launder billions of dollars.

At the same time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Canada announced that in response to the attacks on the Zionist regime, it has sanctioned nine individuals and two organizations related to the Hamas movement. According to the Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the mentioned individuals and institutions cooperate in the financial network of Hamas.

Canada’s new sanctions against the Hamas movement occur in the shadow of Ottawa’s silence against the crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza. The crimes of the Zionist occupiers in Gaza have killed more than 37,000 Palestinians.
