Ryabkov: The risk of direct conflict between nuclear powers is very high

According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency quoted by Tass, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov announced that in the current world situation there is a risk of direct armed conflict between nuclear powers.

He said: We have come to the conclusion that the risks of direct conflict between nuclear powers are very high. Western opponents deliberately create unacceptable conditions for security negotiations with Moscow.

Ryabkov also added: We have come to the conclusion that we need to think about the future and how to minimize the risks of a direct conflict. The professional dialogue on this topic should continue. Unfortunately, our opponents officially proposed unacceptable conditions for this issue.

According to this Russian diplomat, the West suggests that we forget our hostile policy towards Russia and return to dialogue in those formats, as before. It was from the current crisis in relations between Russia and the West.
